Communion

“And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, ‘Take, eat; this is my body which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’” Corinthians 11:24

We share our love in Christ when we are in communion with him. We adore him for his sacrifice made for us, sinners all are we! We give thanks and praise that, because he was crucified, we are able to be with Him in his glory, which we continually seek, eternal life, the promise of the living God, Jesus Christ.

As Paul writes, His body broken for us here by men unknowing what would befall them in eternity. For now we have seen his might! How he has like, “a fire” spread all over the earth with the gospel. Now we are, for our own souls’ sake, seeking. Jesus said, “seek and you shall find”. Why not then always seek him? For how, in our daily lives can we have hope, that this life, is not true life, but is yet to come? If there is no Christ, there can be no hope for eternal life, or eternal communion with the Father, the one true God!
