Prayer of Release from Affliction

Lord hear my prayer. I call out to you oh Heavenly Father, Creator of all that is seen and unseen. I seek your mercy, I seek your understanding and insight and guidance on this day, oh Lord.

I ask that you release me from all my afflictions and use me as an instrument of your peace. Release me from my desire to seek attention when I am confused and beyond reason somehow. Release me from my vanities oh Father, and cleanse me of my sin.
